"Last night Jonti christened his new studio with a 12 hour all night recording session with his good friends, Earl SweatshirtKing Krule, Theresa & Stella from Warpaint and Jono from Jagwar Ma. We can’t wait to see what comes next from this super collab!!" via facebook

- King Krule, Earl Sweatshirt and members of Warpaint and Jagwar Ma have teamed up for a huge collaboration, according to reports.

Faster Louder reports that the London singer-songwriter and Odd Future rapper were joined by Warpaint’s Theresa Wayman and Stella Mozgawa and Jagwar Ma frontman Jono Ma for a 12-hour recording session in Australia earlier this week. The group of musicians, who are on tour with the Laneway festival, recorded together in the studio of Sydney producer Jonto Danilewitz.

Although there has been no information or details of what they recorded – or what form it will eventually be released in – the mammoth recording session has been confirmed by promoters Astral People.

Krule and Sweatshirt have collaborated together before, although their material remains unreleased, while drummer Stella Mozgawa featured on Jagwar Ma’s debut LP ‘Howlin”. Singer Ma returned the favour earlier this year when he appeared on the song ‘Biggie’ from Warpaint’s 2014 self-titled LP.

It was revealed last month that Warpaint will play Manchester’s Parklife Weekender festival this year. They join a line-up which already includes Sam Smith, Mercury Prize nominee Jon Hopkins, Radio 1’s Annie Mac and MK for the event, which runs from June 7-8.
