Warpaint’s set was a definite highlight - the all-girl four-piece have a sound that seems made for festivals, with their plaintive harmonics echoing out into the early evening air. Guitarist Theresa Wayman and bassist Jenny Lee Lindberg effortlessly charmed their listeners with a memorable rendition of old favourite “Billie Holiday”, although “Majesty” and “Composure” also went down well, as, predictably, did “Undertow” the stand-out single from The Fool.
